Tour de Cure Baltimore

MyWay Mobile Storage donates portable storage units to American Diabetes Associations Tour de Cure for 6th consecutive year.

Reisterstown, MD (May 9th, 2017) The American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure bike ride event took place on Saturday May 6, 2017 at the Pearlstone Conference & Retreat Center in Reisterstown, MD. Bike riders from ages 13 and up participated as individuals or teams, at various distances which included 10, 22, 32 and 63 mile courses. The event consisted of 59 teams, 442 riders, with each rider donating a minimum of $200. MyWay Mobile Storage donated two portable storage units for the staff to load the necessary equipment for the event and transported the units to the event site for onsite storage use.

The Tour de Cure is a cycling event that requires the movement and storage of many large event items in order to have things run properly. “MyWay goes out of their way to make our events run smoothly. They’re reliable, friendly and punctual! The staff of the ADA is grateful for our continued partnership and MyWay Mobile Storage’s generosity,” said Julie Funk, Maryland area American Diabetes Association Development Director.

The Tour de Cure is a series of fundraising events held to benefit the American Diabetes Association. The cycling events take place nationwide and are designed for all experience levels; from occasional to experienced riders. MyWay Mobile Storage was proud to sponsor in-part the Greater Baltimore Tour de Cure and help facilitate event coordination.
